Bill Lockwood was born in Birkenhead, Wirral on 1st April 1928. He passed away suddenly on the evening of Thursday 9th September 2010 - on the 47th Anniversary of his marriage to Joan. He is now out of pain and his family send their love forever - he will always be in their hearts xxxxx

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I followed the plan laid down for me.
I could not stay another day
To love, to laugh, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay tay way.
And if my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.........
